O R D E R: -

The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P., Hyderabad, in his letter 1

above, among other things, has stated that presently the Contract faculty working in

Government Degree Colleges are being paid an honorarium amount of Rs.8,500 p.m (Urban

Areas) and Rs.9,500/- p.m (Rural & Tribal Areas) as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.181,

Higher Education (IE-I/A1) Department, dated 21-08-2008. He has further stated that the

Contract faculty working in Government Degree Colleges have requested the Government for

implementation of ‘Minimum Time Scale’ to the Contract faculty working in Government

Degree Colleges in the State.

2. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P., Hyderabad, has requested the

Government to take suitable decision, as a policy and issue necessary orders in the matter.

3. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby enhance the

consolidated remuneration to the Contract Faculty working in Government Degree Colleges

to Rs.20,700/- (Rupees Twenty thousand and seven hundred only) per month w.e.f.

01-06-2011, without payment of D.A or any other allowances, in terms of the orders issued in

G.O.Ms.No.3, Finance (SMPC-II) Department, dated 12-01-2011.

4. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P., Hyderabad, shall take further

action in the matter accordingly.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (SMPC-II) Department, vide their

U.O.No.7044-A/215/A1/SMPC-II/11, dated 30-03-2011 and U.O.No.12766-A/395/A1/

SMPC-II/2011, dated 16-05-2011.
